Likes: flying, Ice cream, low temperatures, Watmel berries, tea, looking on the bright side, teamwork, notes and sticky notes, monocles and tophats, his visors, dust, and being small

Dislikes: Negative thinking, being alone, other dragons mocking his size, itches, boredom, deep waters and boats

Usual Physical Appearance: a slightly smaller than average Flygon with droopier than usual antennae and very flexible wings and tail, with a pink blanket either around his neck, or hung on his wing. Usually wears a variety of colored shirts custom fitted together in by Velcro strips in the back to fit his physique. Carries around an emergency belt bag.


Description:

Fun loving, optimistic, and potentially dangerous, Dune the Flygon wants nothing more in life than to find entertainment in everything. Whether it’s a game, prank, or just a figure or event of interest, Dune will be there with popcorn in his grasp (metaphorically speaking). Being Dallas’ best friend and Wingman most often, they have helped each other in different ways. Dune gets his entertainment, and Dallas can get an occasional helping hand for his pranks. The Gallade has also taught the Flygon how to be a gentleman and a knight, and the student has practically beaten the master. Dune knows many forms of courtesy and manners and uses that in front of others to avoid being awkward during silence. He can use his charm to win over arguments, make good impressions with others, or just to act snooty.

Dune is the best sidekick anyone can ever have. In battle or otherwise, he is excellent support and a helping hand. He was not much for being alone; there was no fun in being alone. He likes to do something for someone else, to be the backup. It was his nature and it makes a great help for everyone, even Deevee appreciates it. You can say he likes being the “trusty steed.” This attitude makes him extremely reliable in many situations or generally as a friend.

The danger in this Flygon lies in the fact the line between good and evil is almost non-existent in his nature. Evident when he tries to entertain himself, he’ll use whatever is available to please himself. Though it makes him somewhat resourceful, it makes his actions have a high possibility to cause hazard, which is why Dallas is careful when picking him as a prank partner. He is currently trying to be taught by the others on what is right and wrong, but deep inside, he knows he’s never going to understand everything, and eventually, he will never have to.

But as long as his actions are in check, Dune is just a gentleman of a mon, always ready and happy to help you out wherever however!


Things to Note:
- Dune has a habit of messing with people, especially drunks, tricking them to hurt themselves, scare themselves, pretty much anything that would be entertaining. And because the Valentine siblings are so easy to manipulate while under the influence, they are his favorite targets.
- Dune is by far the most successful in his individual trainings, being able to walk and run with ease, completing his Subzero temperature training to be resistant to ice, being able to flexibly bend his wings and tail, and arguably, being the best cook of the team, among other achievements. The most recent accomplishment, being able to fly in the rain.
- Speaking of flight, being able to fly was his dream as a Trapinch, much like a Bagon. Since then, his skill in the air is almost unmatchable, to the point that the angle of wing adjustment is an option to increase speed or simply lifting off easier. This trait makes him a great flight teacher.
- He has a fear of flying over deep and expansive waters, so even when he is completely capable of carrying his whole team as passengers, they still have to travel by boat across seas and oceans. And even then he gets seasick. Deevee has dubbed it as “the most inconvenient phobia we had to deal with.”
- He also has a fear of being intimidated by other dragon types. This roots to more of a personal problem rather than past experience. And it may help the fact that dragon type moves have a considerably more severe effect on him.
- Dune may have the least solo Maneuvers on the team, though is most present in combo Maneuvers with a teammate. He makes excellent air support, which compliments his personality.
- Dune has the unique ability to use Minimize. He uses it very flexibly in battle or in normal situations. He usually uses it to fit in bathtubs, on small sleeping areas like branches or beds, or just to be a smaller target.
- Dune owns a high quality home video camera. He has an archive of funny videos of the group’s antics stored in the pc. Ironically though, he is camera shy.
- Dell used to wrap a pink blanket around Dune as a Trapinch whenever he would carry him or whenever he would go to sleep. Now, Blanky symbolizes his love for comfort and for being himself. Dune usually wears Blanky like a cape, or hangs it on one of his wings. He can’t sleep without it.
- Dune has absolutely no talent in cleaning up; always screwing up, making the mess worse, or hurting himself trying to clean.
